Volunteering

Get Involved — Volunteer!

When considering a volunteer position it is important to think about what it is you would like to do, what you are good at, and how much time you have to share. These things are important for you to know, and whomever you are working with, to get the most out of your volunteering experience.

Classroom volunteer opportunities will be posted in each classroom at Back-To-School night. Be sure to talk with your child's teacher if there is a specific way you would like to help.

School-wide volunteer opportunities will be available for sign up on a sheet that will come home with your student at the beginning of the school year. It can take a couple weeks for these to make it home as the start of the year is very busy for everyone. Fill out the sheet and return it to school. If there is something specific you are interested in and don’t see it on the sign-up sheet contact either the PTA Volunteer Coordinator, the secretary, or your child’s teacher.

Volunteers are needed in the office, classrooms, and at school events. You can work with staff, groups of children, or independently and you pick the amount of time you share and when you share it!

When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved!  Your help is needed!  Complete the Volunteer Interest form and we will be in touch with you.
