Welcome Back Roosevelt Families!
As a PTA, we hope you are filled with summer memories and ready to dive in to the excitement of a new school year. There are some new and exciting activities planned and a few updates in the way events will be managed to help make sure all of our families can attend and enjoy upcoming school activities.
We have some new faces and updated positions on the PTA Board. Claire Berlat is returning as Co-President, and joining her is Lisa Gates. Please find the board positions and contact information below.

In the packet your child will receive, you will find a calendar of events and notable dates for the school year as well as a list of open opportunities for you to be involved in the PTA (also listed below). Please remember that volunteering doesn’t mean that you need to be in charge of an event program. Many hands make light work and your support in whatever way works for you and your family are greatly appreciated!
Notably, we are looking for parents interested in helping with Community Outreach, a Family / STEM Night we are planning for the winter, and the Hospitality Team which helps support our teachers. If you have questions about these teams, please reach out to one of the board members above.
We are looking forward to a year filled with community engagement in support of our learners.

Parent To-Do's-
1. Update your family contact information
2. Update your preferences for Roosevelt's PTA directory
Food and Nutrition
Breakfast will be served from 8:15-8:45 each morning for students who would like to eat in the cafeteria before school.
Communication
In order to make sure we have your most current contact information, please take a few minutes to update your Infinite Campus account. Additionally, a 1 to 1 Device Responsible Use Agreement and Permission Form, non refundable device damage deposit, and health information will need to be collected. Directions are below:
Parent Annual Infinite Campus Update Instructions
- Log into your Parent Portal account. If you do not know your username and password, please contact the Registrar or Administrative Assistant at your student’s school for help.
- Once logged in, click on ‘More’ on the Index, then on ‘Annual Update’.
- This will open a new tab listing the student’s information. Click ‘Begin’
- Verify your address, contact information and emergency contacts.
- Lastly, verify all of the information for your student including your technology authorizations.
- 1 to 1 Device Responsible Use Agreement and Permission Form
- 1 to 1 Device Responsible Use and Non-Refundable Damage Deposit (optional)
- Once all is saved successfully, submit.
Annual Notification Regarding Public Release of Student Directory Information
The Boise School District complies with federal law (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) as it relates to the release of student directory information to the public. To learn more, visit www.boiseschools.org, and go to Parents & Patrons > Parent Information > FERPA Form. You may also pick up a FERPA form at your school, or call the Clerk of the Board at 854-4123 to obtain a copy of the FERPA form.
